Just For A Change Of Pace...

Yeah…I just wanted to change my journal. I appreciate your thoughts of that weird dream of mine. I'm still trying to decide if I want to turn it into something.

You guys may have noticed that updates haven't been really…frequent. I apologize for that; life's been interesting lately. But things seem to be settling into a normal routine again and I should be able to get at least one chapter up during the week. This is a very—good—thing. Trust me. You'll be able to see for yourself in the next few chapters.

Things have been progressing well in my original writing too, but I'm sorry to say that I will not  be sharing what I'm working on with you guys. I've got a little too much riding on this particular story to share it with anyone just yet. But you'll get something else to make up for it, I promise.
Another thing that seems to be pushing my writing right along is that I've found a lovely little place to work in my little notebook. I live on the Oregon coast, actually, and I'm just a few blocks from the boardwalk here in town. I've actually lived a few blocks from it for like a year now, but I've only recently been wandering down that way. I sat down there today and got about 2,500 words down. Nifty, huh? I'm going to make a regular habit of it. We'll see what comes of it.

Oh, just as a side note, I recently watched a movie that before I had completely disregarded. It was The Sorcerer's Apprentice with Nicholas Cage. Dude. That movie kicked serious butt. It was hilarious, the story was kind of silly, but at the same time it was solid, and the main character was just so adorably befuddled it was perfect. Cage actually surprised me, the parts that he picks are really hit and miss. *coughWickerMancough* But I really liked him in this one. So yeah, if you guys haven't tried it, give The Sorcerer's Apprentice a look.
